April Volunteer Opportunities

  • Spring Book Fair! — Spring Book Fair is next week (4/14 - 4/18). If you love volunteering for this event, make sure to sign-up now so you don’t forget! Help us help your kiddos shop til they drop.

  • Bingo Night Prizes — We are in need of Bingo Night Prize donations. For a list of requested items, or to make a monetary donation, please visit the Bingo Night page of our website (and scroll to the bottom).

  • PreK, SI, & Kindergarten Parents — it’s your turn to provide our monthly break room treat for staff! To donate, please visit our website. 

  • Volunteer Thank You Breakfast — Friday, April 18th. All parent volunteers from this year (room parents, watch DOGS, book fair, events, etc) are invited to a special thank you event at our last General Meeting of the year on Friday, 4/18, at 8:30am in the Cafe. Please RSVP here to let us know you’re planning to attend.

Bingo Tickets on Sale 4/9

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, 4/9, at 6pm to make sure you get your Bingo Tickets and concessions before they sell out! Bingo Night will be Friday, May 2nd, and will likely sell out so make sure to get your tickets early if you want to attend.

In order to make Bingo Night a fun event for everyone, we are looking for prize donations! You can either choose specific items to donate, or make a monetary donation here and PTO will shop for you.

If you’d like to choose for yourself, please check out our Amazon wishlists below. You can purchase directly from these links (and your item will be shipped directly to us), or you can use this as a guide and shop yourself (just make sure to drop donations off at school on Monday, April 14th, or Tuesday, April 15th).

Denmark Community Spring Fling Friday 4/11

Join us this Friday as we gather with our Denmark HS community for a fun night filled with games, food, sporting events and more! Look for us at the New Hope corn hole game — we can’t wait to see our Nighthawks!

LAST Spirt Night at Ice Cream Social — 4/16!

Wear your NHES gear to school and then join us for our LAST spirit night of the year at Ice Cream Social (Midway park) from 5-9pm! We can’t wait to celebrate this year and the amazing summer to come with our community. Just make sure to mention you’re with New Hope, as a percentage of all proceeds will be donated back to our school!

Volunteer Thank You & General Meeting — 4/18

Did you volunteer with PTO this year? Are you interested in volunteering next year? Just curious where all your money went? Make sure to attend our final general meeting of the year on Friday, April 18th, at 8:30am in the Cafe. We will have a special thank you for our volunteers, take a look back at this year, and vote on our new leadership team for next year. All in under 30minutes!
