March Volunteer Opportunities

  • Painting with a Purpose — Help us make sure our new fundraising event can actually happen! We need help setting up, cleaning up, and refilling supplies during this event. Could you spare some time on either end of attending? Sign up here to help.

  • Teacher Appreciation Week — We need help making sure our teachers know they are WICKED Oz-some! Donate here and make sure you visit our website for all the details on how to participate.

  • April Sneak Peek: Spring Book Fair! — We’re letting you know early: Spring Book Fair will follow Spring Break (4/14 - 4/18). If you love volunteering for this event, make sure to sign-up now so you don’t forget!

Painting With a Purpose

Join us for a first of it’s kind fundraiser event at New Hope! Painting with a Purpose is a night dedicated to raising funds for our Specialized Instruction students while having fun being creative!

For $12 your student and an adult of their choosing will get to participate in a guided painting event led by our very own art teacher Mrs. Riedinger! Tickets include all of the supplies needed and you will get to take home your painted canvas at the end of the evening.

Additional NHES siblings may be added for $5, and concessions will be available.

Our teachers are OZ-some and we need your help making sure they know it! Teacher appreciation week kicks off on March 17th and we have some WICKED surprises up our sleeves, but we need your help! Without giving too much away ahead of time…

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Be on the lookout for printed materials coming home in your student’s folder & email messages from your room parents

  2. Make a monetary donation here to ensure PTO has enough funds to love on our staff. Please select ‘Teacher Appreciation Week’ at checkout so we know exactly where you intended to give.

  3. Check your teacher’s favorite things list and plan to surprise them with something special during the week.

  4. Have your student complete the ‘Why my teacher is Wicked Oz-some’ letter found here and send it to your teacher that week. A printed copy will also be coming home in folders.

Spirt Night at Mellow Mushroom — 3/11

Wear your NHES gear to school and then join us for a pizza celebration at Mellow Mushroom from 5:00-9:00pm. Make sure you mention New Hope on your dine-in or take-out orders and a portion of all sales will be donated back to our school!

We can’t wait to see you there!
