Volunteer Opportunities — November

• 3rd Grade will provide the Staff Breakroom Treat on 11/20. Sign up here and please be on the lookout for an email with details from your room parents soon! You can make a monetary donation here if you’d rather not purchase a particular item.

• Around the World is back on Friday, December 2nd! We need YOU to make our 3rd annual celebration a success.

  • Sign up to host a country booth

  • Participate in the parade

  • Share your travel photos

  • Volunteer to help run the event.

• Holiday Shop will be back December 2nd-6th! This fun event allows our students to shop in secret for family and friends — during the school day — on a student’s budget. This event runs very similarly to our Book Fairs, so please sign-up here to volunteer.

5th Grade Yearbook Tributes DUE MONDAY (11/11)

The LAST CHANCE to create a yearbook tribute honoring your 5th grade student is THIS MONDAY, 11/11, and there will be no exceptions made beyond that deadline.

What is a yearbook tribute? Tributes are a unique opportunity for 5th grade parents to create a customized, special message congratulating their student on finishing elementary school. These messages will be included in every copy printed of New Hope’s yearbook this year.

What is the yearbook? New Hope’s yearbook is an annual publication created by PTO for our students to remember their school year. The book will include photos of every student and all the wonderful memories made this year. Yearbooks are sold separately from tribute ads and may be purchased by any student. November Spirit Celebration — Las Palmas 11/13

Make sure to wear your New Hope spirit wear to school on Wednesday, November 13th, to celebrate our school. Then join us for dinner at Las Palmas (Publix Shopping Center) for dinner. A portion of all proceeds made during this time will be donated back to our school and help fund our PTO!

Around the World - Friday, December 2nd

We’re so excited to announce our 3rd annual Around the World celebration on Friday, December 2nd. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite traditions at New Hope!

Join us as we celebrate all of the wonderful cultures and traditions of our school by signing up to host a country booth, participate in the parade, send in your travel photos for our slideshow, or volunteer to help with the event.

Is your country of choice already taken? Pick another country of your choosing to research and present your findings to us! We’d love to hear about the culture, food, art, or traditions.
