We hope everyone enjoyed a safe Fall Break and we are excited to be back! October is a very busy month, so read below for volunteer opportunities, Movie Night, Family Photo Sessions, Vendetti’s, and more!

Volunteer Opportunities — October

• Movie Night | Friday, October 4th : Please sign-up to help us with this awesome event! We have several shifts available, so you can volunteer and still spend time with your family.

• Fall Book Fair | Monday, October 7th - Friday, October 11th : Are you available during school hours? We need volunteers to help our students shop the Book Fair.

• Best Day Ever Fundraiser Celebration | Tuesday, October 29th : See below for more details, but if you like to have a good time this event is for you! Sign up today.

• 4th Grade Staff Breakroom Treat on 10/24: 4th grade parents, please be on the lookout for an email with details from your room parents soon!

Movie Night — Friday, October 4th | 6pm

Plan to join us THIS FRIDAY out on the playground for our annual Movie Night beginning at 6pm. This event is completely free to enter and open to all Nighthawk families. We will have food, Book Fair shopping, and activities available for purchase prior to the movie beginning at sundown.

We are still in need of volunteers to make this event a success. If you are able to lend your time, please sign up here as soon as possible.

We highly encourage carpooling to this event as parking will be limited. For other important details, please refence our website or the Messenger email sent by the school.

Tanner Photography Family Sessions | 10/11 & 10/13

This is a quick, fun way to get great family photos for you and your loved ones — including your pets! Each $35 donation to New Hope PTO secures your session and includes an 11×14 print. Additional images and poses will be available for purchase as well. Sessions are available for purchase on our website and your confirmation email will contain details on how to choose a specific time slot. Options include:

• Friday, October 11th from 5:00pm-7:00pm

• Sunday, October 13th from 9:30am-12:30pm

October Spirit Celebration — Vendetti’s 10/16

Make sure to wear your New Hope spirit wear to school on Wednesday, October 16th, to celebrate our school. Then join us for dinner at Vendetti’s (behind CVS) for dinner. A portion of all proceeds made during this time will be donated back to our school and help fund our PTO!

Bus Driver Appreciation Week | 10/21-10/25

Help us say Thank You to all of our amazing Bus Drivers the week of October 21st! Plan to show your appreciation with a handmade card, small gift, or other token of appreciation.

Best Day Ever Fundraiser Celebration | Tuesday, 10/29

All of our amazing Nighthawk students will celebrate the BEST DAY EVER on Tuesday, 10/29, for their efforts in helping us reach our fundraising goal. We will provide bounce houses, games, dance party and more to say a huge thank you to all of our students for their hard work.

We cannot say THANK YOU loud enough to all of our families and friends. With your generous support we have raised enough money from our Fall Fundraiser to be able to purchase a laptop for every Nighthawk to use! Laptops are being ordered, so be on the lookout for these to arrive at school in the coming weeks.

5th Grade Yearbook Ads | Buy Before 11/8

Calling all 5th grade families! Yearbook ads are a special way to honor your 5th grader’s achievement of finishing elementary school. Purchase a section of the yearbook that’s all your own to include a special message, photos, or quotes. Orders close 11/8 and will NOT re-open so make sure you purchase today!

Still need to purchase your yearbook? Order now before they close on 2/24/25!

Spirit Celebrations

Make sure to wear your NHES spirit wear to school and then join us for dinner at these participating restaurants! Each sponsor will donate a portion of their proceeds earned back to New Hope PTO. This is a great way to skip the dinner grind and make a difference for our school!
