PTO Volunteer Kick-off Tuesday, 9/9

To that end, we want to make sure to extend a personal invitation to our first PTO Meeting and Volunteer Kick-off next Tuesday, 9/9, at 9am in the New Hope Cafe.

This meeting is extremely important to understanding the role you will play this year, not only as a parent in your classroom, but as part of the larger New Hope community. It’s a great way to meet other NHES room parents both in your grade level and across the school. Here’s a few things we will plan to cover:

  • Introduction of PTO Board and Leadership Team

  • Review and vote on PTO budget for 2025-26

  • Review volunteer calendar for 2025-26

  • Room parent job description and expectation changes for this year

  • Changes to room parent communication

  • Q&A session

READ-A-Thon Fundraiser NOW OPEN - Register Today!

If you haven’t already seen, our very first school-wide READ-a-thon Fundraiser is now open and you need to register your student in order to participate!

Students will raise money for our school while reading across the next two and a half weeks. They will have the chance to earn prizes both as individuals and as a part of their homeroom class. We will give away prizes both for minutes read and money raised. SO MANY ways to take home something cool and help your school!

Here’s how to get started:
